Cedar & Sage is a New Jersey event rental company founded and run by sisters Kellie and Erin. When they came to me, they already had a solid foundation — a recognizable brand, a DIY website, and an incredible inventory — but they were ready for their online presence to feel more elevated and better reflect the experience they offered their clients.
Rather than completely reinventing the brand, we worked with what was already there. I built out a warm, earthy color palette and refined font system that complemented their existing logo, then created a secondary logo variation they could use across apparel and other branded materials. It gave them a more modern, versatile mark without forcing them into a full rebrand.
From there, the website became about more than simply showing off their rentals. We created an editorial gallery to showcase their work, an easy-to-update event calendar, and an inventory experience where couples could browse available pieces, see quantities, build a wishlist, and explore rental packages.
But there was another part of the business we wanted to bring forward: their space.
Cedar & Sage wasn't just an event rental company — they had a beautiful space that could function as an intimate micro venue, too. So we built that into the story of the website, giving the venue its own dedicated experience and showing potential clients exactly what they could create there.
The end result was a website that didn't just look more polished — it worked harder for the business, bringing their rentals, packages, events, and venue experience together under one cohesive brand.
